THE SACRED FREQUENCY OF GOLD

AN INTERVIEW WITH ZACK ZUBLENA

Watkins: Zack, you paint people in gold and photograph them as art pieces that people frame in their living rooms—is it also a spiritual experience for you and for those who engage with the work?

Zack: Yes, profoundly so. The process is a sacred ritual of activation and remembrance. We enter a co-creative space where intention, breath, and golden frequency converge. I guide the subject into deep presence through meditation or visualization to connect with their inner light. The gold isn’t merely applied—it’s an energetic transmission that amplifies their divine essence and reflects back their sovereignty and radiance. Those who hang these pieces at home often report powerful shifts: emotional releases, expanded awareness, or direct encounters with their Higher Self. The artwork becomes a living portal, a vibrational anchor transmitting codes of awakening. Framing it in a living room turns everyday space into a temple. The gaze alone attunes them. It’s not decoration; it’s medicine. My gold-frequency work hangs in all David Lloyd clubs in the UK, and my shooting studio is in Los Angeles, California—but I also create in Europe, mostly Paris and Rome.

Watkins: Interesting journey. How did it start?

Zack: From a near-death experience where I met with the big guy upstairs. He told me, “You are not ready yet. We are sending you back. Your mission is to paint people in gold so they can awaken to their divine self.” Meanwhile, I was clinically dead. And I came back.

Watkins: What is the “blueprint” you believe gold is connected to?

Zack: I am now happy to share that gold connects to the original blueprint of solar consciousness—what the ancients called primordial light or the divine essence. It’s a crystalline code, a divine hologram encoded in matter. Gold embodies alchemical perfection: the union of heaven and earth, solar masculine and receptive feminine energies. It’s the blueprint of the awakened human soul—dense matter transmuting into pure conscious light. Gold is the prototype of our destined state: sovereign, radiant, incorruptible beings.

Watkins: Do you see gold as something humanity once understood instinctively but has forgotten?

Zack: Absolutely. Ancient civilizations knew it instinctively—not as a commodity for wealth, but as a living conductor of divine energy. They wore it to amplify the auric field and attune to the inner sun. Today we’ve reduced it to a status symbol or investment. We’ve forgotten gold as a spiritual ally and mirror of divine potential. Yet its magic persists—one ounce of gold (one coin is one ounce) can be beaten into a leaf of just 2 millionths of a centimeter thick or stretched into a 50 miles long wire (80 kms) and still maintains its conductivity. Pure magic!

Watkins: How did ancient civilizations relate to gold differently than we do today?

Zack: Ancient civilizations revered gold as sacred. 3500 BC, in Mesopotamia to begin with, the cradle of civilization, revered gold that was connected to their sun god Shamash. In ancient Egypt, gold was specifically called the “flesh of Ra” or the “skin of the gods” around 3000 BC, embodying the radiant, eternal essence of the sun god Ra. Both civilizations used it in rituals for immortality, and would put gold in the mouth of their deceased to secure a favorable position in the afterlife, cosmic alignment, and soul purification. Much later in history, the magnificent empire of the Incas named gold “the sweat of the sun”, linking directly to Inti, their sun god. Vedic sages, in current Hinduism Rigveda (circa 2500 BC), there is this notion, still today, of “Hiranyagarbha”—which means the golden womb or the golden egg. So, according to Vedic sages, all emerges from and returns to gold. Indian temples are gilded to purify the soul, attract divine energy and facilitate enlightenment. Clients sometimes tell me, “I saw my soul for the first time”—echoing that timeless knowing.

Watkins: How does gold interact with the human nervous system or subtle body?

Zack: Gold acts as a subtle superconductor. Trace amounts (about 0.2 mg) in the body support electrical conductivity. Energetically, it calms the nervous system, harmonizes prana or chi, strengthens the aura (a “golden lining”), reduces fight-or-flight stress, and aligns chakras—especially solar plexus and heart—for fluid energy flow.

Watkins: Is gold something that transmits information, holds memory, or reflects consciousness?

Zack: Yes—gold transmits and reflects consciousness. In alchemy, it amplifies and returns the energy or intention you offer. It mirrors pure consciousness like a solar reflector. Used intentionally, it enhances clarity, intuition, and manifestation of higher states. It catalyzes awakening by reflecting your true Self back to you.

Watkins: How does gold relate to coherence between heart, mind, and body?

Zack: Gold radiates warm, solar energy that aligns the heart’s electromagnetic field (5,000 times stronger than the brain’s) with brainwaves and bodily rhythms. It facilitates cardiac coherence—a state of deep peace where the heart leads, dissolving mental chaos and attuning to love and presence.

Watkins: Do you experience gold as having a relationship to sound, vibration, or resonance?

Zack: Deeply. Sound alchemists associate gold with frequencies like 316 Hz or 192 Hz in 24k singing bowls. Its shine is visual resonance; working with it evokes a subtle solar hum that tunes the energy field to higher octaves.

Watkins: If sound organizes reality through frequency, how does gold participate in that same field?

Zack: Gold is stardust—forged in supernova explosions billions of years ago, embedding stellar intelligence and incorruptible light codes in its atomic structure, and it became embedded in the planet’s crust billions of years ago, through meteorite bombardments. So, gold, even though now found on Earth, is totally cosmic. Sound organizes reality through waves and patterns (cymatics); gold participates as a cosmic frequency stabilizer. Sound creates form; gold fixes and preserves high vibrations eternally. Together they form a cosmic symphony: sound structures, gold illuminates and sustains.

Watkins: What role does beauty play in how gold communicates or transmits its intelligence?

Zack: The same way Michelangelo Buonarroti expressed it—“seeing the angel already within the marble and carving until he set it free”—beauty is gold’s native language. It’s incorruptible (in every sense of the word) radiance transmits divine intelligence instantly—bypassing the mind, opening the heart, disarming the ego, inviting soul recognition. It whispers: “Look at my perfection and remember your own.” Beauty is the portal.

Watkins: How has working closely with gold changed your own perception, creativity, or inner state?

Zack: It has magnetically aligned me—boosting sovereignty and allowing creativity to flow with solar clarity. It transmutes fear into light—an ongoing personal alchemy.

Watkins: Do you see a relationship between gold and sovereignty, beyond financial or material value?

Zack: Yes—gold is the metal of spiritual sovereignty. It symbolizes inner authority, soul independence, self-mastery, and freedom from control systems. True sovereignty means becoming gold: incorruptible, radiant, free.

Watkins: How do modern systems of extraction and ownership distort gold’s original purpose?

Zack: Industrial mining, speculation, and hoarding profane gold—turning a sacred bridge into a tool of inequality and destruction. Indigenous groups like the Kogi in Colombia return gold to the earth through “pagamentos” (payments) rituals to restore harmony. Reverence heals separation and scarcity. Râ once told me in a plant medicine ceremony, “gold gets rid of the mold.”

Watkins: What do you hope readers feel or remember after reading The Sacred Frequency of Gold?

Zack: I hope they feel profound remembrance—of their divine essence, eternal connection, and inner golden light. Aligned with their highest potential and knowing they are expressions of Source: awake, abundant, infinite.
