by Demian Allan[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e approach autumn with a feeling of pressure and a quickening pace in life in general for all of us; the outer planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto give little respite in a world consumed by status and consumerism. Lessons are being learnt the hard way as we metaphorically shift our values from the trenches to the war path, not easy when you are not armed with the right equipment or knowledge.
It is perhaps a symbol of the toil that governments employ to keep (in their eyes) us on the straight and narrow, working longer hours without the promise of security or independence, the false illusions of Neptune in Pisces are on overdrive as humans begin to stop for a moment and seriously consider the meaning of our society.
SEPTEMBER Jupiter is in direct motion in Cancer which it is exalted in and for the UK chart a real support for the Royal family and indeed our social status in the western world. The USA chart also benefits from Jupiter travelling in Cancer, since the USA is under the rulership of the crab. In the early part of the month Venus transits in its own sign of Libra until the 11th bringing a sense of diplomacy in terms of the Middle East, negotiations will be on-going and the tense aspect between Uranus and Pluto slightly subsides. Mars is in Leo for the month and therefore creates impulsive behaviour with results. The harvest Full moon on the 19th in Pisces at 26 degrees is there to help us become more conscious of our own spiritual power that can unify all of us with one purpose if we become more open to change. Pluto the planet of transformation goes direct on the 20th pushing aside old agendas in the Government’s arguments on the financial sector forcing a few red faces!
OCTOBER We are back into our lunar eclipses this month as a full moon eclipse on the 19th in the zodiac sign of Aries promises new enterprises and more destabilising influences in terms of demonstrations and opposition movements. Saturn in Scorpio is moving forward and has been clashing with Mars especially in September; careful words need to be spoken at this time by the political leaders, room for misinterpretation can occur under these planetary influences. Mercury goes retrograde from the 21st in the sign of Scorpio to add to the confusion in the Middle East, and right at the end of October could be a really testing time for the UK, as Mercury and Saturn do a waltz together causing shifts and annoyance at certain policies that seem far removed from the British population. This is a month when it is important that we are progressive in our approach and ideals instead of getting caught in games of political smokescreens depicted by Neptune in Pisces. The autumn leaves symbolise the descent of winter slowly coming towards us, yet we must prepare for more turbulence approaching.
NOVEMBER We kick start the month with a solar eclipse at 11 degrees in Scorpio, if you are born between the 1st and the 5th of November this could be quite an emotional and illuminating time for you. The Sun sign of Scorpio always brings issues from the past to the surface and this month proves to be unexpected in some of the scandals and intrigue. Jupiter goes retrograde on the 7th and Mercury goes direct on the 10th easing communication in the field of public service companies. We also have Neptune going direct on the 13th; the ‘La Volasfera’ symbol for 2 degrees in Pisces is ‘A chest floating on an open sea’, which suggests that our humanitarian treasure is bobbing in front of us but is hard to reach, for the waves of government are creating unequal tides for us all.
