It’s always been the aim of Watkins Mind Body Spirit to share the best in esoterica, spirituality, philosophy and more. We cover a broad range of subjects from myth and mysticism to the paranormal to self-empowerment, which can mean that we don’t always have room for everything we’d really like to include in our quarterly magazine.

We know that our readers come from many different walks of life and share the same passion for exchanging knowledge that we do. Digital channels means that we’re able to share additional content more freely than ever and since we want to share the stories you’re interested in, we’d love it if you’d like to send us a submission for our blog. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an aspiring author or if you’ve already had work published, but we do have a few guidelines:

  1. Your piece must be self-contained, offer real value to our readers and consist of original content. In some cases we may use pieces which have been previously published elsewhere, but please do let us know if this is the case!
  2. In the first instance, please send us an email with the title of your piece, a short precis (no more than 200 words please!) and a brief author bio.
  3. We will be in contact within 2 weeks to let you know if we’d like to publish your piece on our blog.
  4. If your proposal is accepted we will be looking for a piece of either 600 or 1000 words and will require a photograph of yourself.

Our email address for submissions and queries is If you have any questions that aren’t covered on this page, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!

Please note that we are not able to pay for articles, but you may include a short bio at the end of your piece, including links.
We reserve the right to edit your piece for spelling, grammar and formatting as necessary.
