OCTOBER 17, 6.30pm-7.30pm John Levine – Alpha Music Works
John Levine composes music to alter brainwaves, increase alpha waves and induce deep relaxation and concentration. When the mind is in an alpha state the body can function better, aiding healing, concentration and emotional well being.
John is also a composer of the Alphamusic Archangels series. John describes his inspiration behind these CDs, “The thought one day occurred to me that angelic beings could be one possible source. Inspired by this, and the images I saw staring back at me in the stained glass windows and paintings I came across in the many chapels of my adopted Cambridge, I wondered what would happen if I set the intention to specifically call upon the archangels to channel their vibrations through myself.”
OCTOBER 24, 6.30pm-7.30pm Meir Schneider – Vision for Life
Meir Schneider, PhD, LMT, founder of the School for Self-Healing, is an international author and speaker, holistic mind-body educator, and pioneering therapist. Meir’s journey began at the age of seventeen when he embarked upon his own self-healing to overcome congenital blindness. From blindness to sight, from functioning through Braille to reading without glasses, he now drives a car! The principles he discovered while working to develop functional vision became the foundation for his breakthrough Self-Healing Method of therapeutic exercises, effective for a range of physical problems from chronic headaches to polio, muscular dystrophy, spinal disorders, and vision problems. His method combines movement, massage, breathing, mental imagery, and joy.
Meir’s new book, Vision for Life, shares ten essential principles of healthy vision discovered in his forty-year personal and professional journey. Vision for Life is not only for those who see poorly and would like to improve their vision, but also for those with 20/20 vision who wish to maintain their perfect eyesight as they grow older.
