Relating how particular planetary cycles in the last forty years have changed our society can give us an indicator of what to expect and how we will respond over the next eight years. The book includes the natal charts of the UK and the USA with an explanation and predictions. There is also a chapter on how each of the twelve zodiac signs can survive and get the best from the next eight years.
November 19, 2012, at 5.30pm –Joan Tollifson – Nothing to Grasp
Joan Tollifson writes and talks about the ever-changing, ever-present aliveness of Here / Now, that which is obvious, unavoidable and impossible to doubt. Joan has an affinity with Advaita, Zen and radical nonduality, but she belongs to no tradition or lineage. Joan explores nonduality in the context of everyday life, drawing from her own experiences with addiction, disability, and other human issues. Nothing to Grasp points to what is most obvious and impossible to avoid: the ever-present, ever-changing, nonconceptual actuality of the present moment that is effortlessly presenting itself right now. This is a book about what is happening, not what “should” happen or “might” happen or “could” happen, “if only.” This book is about waking up from our imaginary bondage and our story of lack and also from the imaginary “somebody” who seems to be at the center of all our suffering and confusion.
Alan Butler is an engineer, who became fascinated by history, and also became an expert in astrology and astronomy. As Alan Butler demonstrates in his new book, Intervention, many key events in the history of our world–from the creation of the Moon to the evolution of human beings–came about through the intervention of humans from the future. Based on rigorous science, Butler’s theory reveals the changes made by these time travelers, as well as the markers they left behind to prepare us for the most spectacular revelation of all: our first contact with our future selves, an event that will occur within the lifetime of most people alive today.
